I first made contact and the deal with John Bryant (A+). I came a day early to pick up the bike so Gary Schwenker took care of finishing up (A+).
I bought a used 2012 BMW K1600GT, not a new high dollar bike. I was treated like I was buying the most expensive bike in the building. Both were professional, friendly, and accommodating on every request, and the treatment I received was the of the reasons that my good friend bought a used 2013 K1600GT from Gary Schwenker two days later. I live in a location where a BMW dealer is about the same distance in any direction, HOWEVER, I will travel farther for a dealer I trust, and knows how to treat people. Your folks secured that trust, and proved they not only know how to treat people, but cut through the BS and make the experience a situation where you ride away not wondering if you got as good a deal possible.I do a lot of mechanical work on motorcycles for a small group of friends and am not shy of tackling almost anything. If it comes that I have work I am going to have done on my BMW it will be with your service dept simply because of my experience with your sales dept.I look forward to the time when I am ready to purchase a newer, or possibly a new BMW as your place will be the first place I go to.Stu Sanders-Anonymous -
My wife and I recently purchased a 2012 K1600GT from BMW of Louisville and were assisted by Chris Horrar. After talking with Chris for a short period of time it was extremely apparent that Chris really loves motorcycles. He ask me questions concerning my riding habits in the past and why I was interested in the K1600GT. We could tell that he was interested in making certain that the K1600GT would match up with the way we ride today. His professionalism and knowledge of the products he is selling was impressive. And he loves doing what he does. Our new purchase was delivered by Brian who did a great job of introducing himself and taking care to make certain the unloading of the bike was carefully done. I live in Southern California and chose to cast the net nationally to find the BMW K1300s I really wanted...a mint condition 2014 30th anniversary edition. I came across a listing on BMW Motorcycles of Louisville that fit all my criteria (model / condition / miles) and gave Chris Horrar a call. For me, buying a motorcycle sight unseen can carry with it some anxiety. I have to say Chris's attention to detail, timely responses to questions, and overall approach to making sure I was truly getting the machine I was looking for really put my mind at ease. Of course the bike being competitively priced didn't hurt things either! I am writing to say that I have nothing but respect and appreciation for how your store conducts business. I have had such a great experience that I felt compelled to write a review! I have been working with Chris Horrar for the last couple of weeks on a K1200LT the store had for sale. Chris showed not only knowledge but more importantly honesty and integrity. My example is this: When I started inquiring about the bike, he told me how great it looked (which it does!). As I got closer to buying, Chris did a detailed inspection and noticed a couple of small blemishes. Instead of trying to slide them through (I am from Illinois and did not come see the bike in person before buying) he not only informed me of the blemishes in detail but also sent me photos, very honorable to say the least! He was very friendly and accessible throughout the entire process. This includes him giving me tips about nuances and maintenance specific to the model I purchased. I would not hesitate for one second to send any interested friend, co-worker or family member to this store. Hopefully this demonstrates how happy I am as a customer with the store and with Chris in his professional handling of my purchase.

First--buying my 2015 R1200GS was a seamless, very pleasant experience. Chris Horrar was my sales professional and he was professional in every sense of the word. He answered all of my questions and even asked me several questions to make sure I was making the right decision.Second---this is one really sweet ride! Compared to my V-Strom, which was a great bike, the GS just moves effortlessly and intuitively. It feels SO VERY LIGHT when in motion and not too darn heavy when I'm just rolling it around in the garage or a parking lot. I'm riding this bike next summer on a projected 5000 mile western ride and I'm already excited about making the trip on the GS.What a bike!

I recently purchased a 2015 BMW, R Nine T from your dealership with the help of your sales associate Chris Horrar. He was great to work with being extremely responsive and resourceful as this purchase was done out of state. I had the bike shipped to my residence again with his assistance and all went incredibly well. I have since had the new bike out around town which is wonderful to ride and so very cool to look at. Having great difficulty trying to decide what my next ride would be I have spent a great deal of time in this dealership going over several different models. My salesman Chris Horrar made this the single most enjoyable buying experience one could possibly expect to achieve. Chris has excellent knowledge of both Harley Davidson and BMW and was very honest and candid in pointing out feature sets, mechanical, electrical, and computer designs within each model. We held in depth discussions on riding styles, performance, and how each model would deliver on each of these points. It became increasingly obvious Chris was more interested in achieving the perfect fit of man to machine than racking up another point on the sales chart. This level of commitment to your customer and profession is seldom found in any dealership. In working with management Chris came back with a deal on my trade that was very reasonable and processing the remainder of the deal was a breeze. From F&I to upper management this process was smooth and painless. Simply stated, these guys made this a pleasurable experience. I took delivery the same day and they walked me through all the controls and settings on the bike, break-in procedures, and first service requirements. Regardless of your level of experience, I would recommend purchasing your first bike or your next bike from this dealership. If you need guidance or wish to discuss in detail (as I did) the engineering and design of each machine, Chris is your go to guy. I had almost as much fun buying this bike as I am riding it......almost, Chris got it right and the man fits the machine.

"I was one of the first to get a K1600GT, I wore the tires out before any hit the market, James Davidson and Dwayne Mulkey swapped tires off a dealership bike and got me back on the road. Every time I stop in on long rides they schedule me in and get my bike serviced quickly, including numerous accessories, some not so easy to install. James even sent me a Captain America movie poster after I said how much I liked it. These guys know how to take care of the rider. Best dealership service I have ever had."

"My office is 1 mile away from the BMW shop in Indianapolis, they would not service my R100RS and said they didn't have the tools or training to work on "Air Heads". I called BMW of Louisville and they were happy to fix the electrical issue with my old bike. They have "real' motorcycle mechanics not just guys that can bolt a paper plate on. I purchased a new R1200RT from BMWoL the service has been excellent! I now drive 100+ miles for all my motorcycle needs."

Overall great experience! Found bike I was interested on the website and contacted dealer, James responded right away, we spoke on the phone a couple times. All sounds good so I brought my old bike in and traded on a brand new BMW. James and Damon were very helpful and straightforward, I never felt pressured or pushed in any way. Unloaded new bike as soon as I got back to Cincinnati and got the break=in started!
Will recommend BMW Loovl every chance I do. Thanks guys
